Reserving a room online

Rooms can be booked directly via our website. During the booking process, you will be asked to enter your credit card details. Your credit card will NOT be charged at the point of reservation, it is merely required for the purpose of a booking guarantee in case of no-show. Once you have entered your details, your booking will be confirmed immediately.

Please pay for your accommodation in cash on your arrival. The additional costs caused by credit card payment would increase our prices unnecessarily.

Internet security

Your personal data is protected by our security-certified COMODO server system that scrambles all stored data and automatically deletes credit card details after 5 days. This server conforms to international Internet security standards and is used worldwide by many of the largest online hotel reservation systems.

Reserving a room by fax

Online bookings may also be confirmed by fax. Enter the type of room you wish to book as well as your name, address and phone number. Leave the credit card section empty.

Instead of clicking on the "confirm by credit card" button, click instead on the "confirm by fax" button. You will receive an email form that you can print out and fill out in pen.

You will have 48 hours to complete this form and fax to us here in Berlin at +49 30 2639 1730 3221. This number is also printed on the email form.

If we do not receive this completed form from you within 48 hours, your reservation will automatically be cancelled.

Reserving a room by bank transfer

For those guests who do not wish to reserve a room with a credit card, payment by bank transfer is also possible. Enter the type of room you wish to reserve as well as your name, address and phone number. Leave the credit card section empty.

Instead of clicking on the "confirm by credit card" button, click instead on the "confirm by bank transfer" button. You will receive an email that gives the bank details of Haus Arkona.

You will need to complete the bank transfer within 2 days of making the reservation for 50% of the total cost of the room. The dated and stamped bank transfer payment slip must then be faxed to us for confirmation. If you use online banking, no fax will be necessary as the payment will be immediate.

If we do not receive confirmation of your payment (either online or with a faxed copy of the payment slip) within 2 days, your reservation will automatically be deleted.

Naturally any unused funds will be reimbursed.
